Welcome to the CBS Winchester, VA Class!

Our class welcomes women of all ages and backgrounds, from those new to the Bible to those with advanced knowledge.

We meet on Thursday mornings from 9:30 AM to 11:30 AM.  Our 2026-2027 Class begins on Thursday, September 10, 2026.

Come join us in experiencing the life-changing impact of discovering God through His Word! Our classes meet weekly during the school year.  Each participant receives a course book with a commentary and home study questions. Each week includes engaging in small-group discussions and enjoying large-group teaching. Fellowship meals throughout the year provide special opportunities for connection and encouragement.

For our 2026-27 in depth bible study, we will journey through several books of the Bible.

The book of Job - Job wrestles with intense suffering despite his righteousness, raising deep questions about why the righteous suffer.  God ultimately reveals His sovereign wisdom, calling Job to trust Him even when His purposes are beyond human understanding.

The book of James - James teaches that genuine faith is demonstrated through actions calling believers to live with wisdom, humility and obedience.  It emphasizes practical Christian living - controlling the tongue, caring for the needy, and perservering through trials.

The book of Colossians - Colossians proclains the supremacy of sufficiency of Christ over all creation and spiritual powers.  Because believers are united with Him, they are called to live transformed lives marked by holiness, gratitude and love.

1&2 Peter - Peter encourages Christians facing persecution to remain faithful, reminding them that suffering for Christ refines their faith and points to their living hope in Him.  Peter warns believers about false teachers and urges them to grow in knowledge, godliness and discrenment.  He reminds them to remain steadfast in the truth and to live expectantly in light of Christs's promised return.

Winchester CBS registration for our 2026-2027 class will open to the public on April 2, 2026.  We would love for you to join us! Click the registration link at the top right of this page to sign up.

We also offer a wonderful children's ministry and have expanded into a High School class. Space is limited.  Children will be enrolled in the order in which they are registered. If a class reaches capacity, we will start a waitlist and pray for God to provide a way for more children to participate. Our heart is for every child to experience biblical teaching and learn to encourage one another. Please join us in praying for expanded opportunities so even more children can be a part of this life-giving ministry!
